Εξετάσεις για ραδιοερασιτέχνες στα Χανιά

Από τη Διεύθυνση Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Χανίων ανακοινώνεται ότι οι εξετάσεις υποψηφίων για την απόκτηση πτυχίου Ραδιοερασιτέχνη, Β΄ περιόδου 2018, έχουν προγραμματισθεί για την Παρασκευή 30 Νοεμβρίου 2018.

Οι εξετάσεις θα διεξαχθούν σε αίθουσα της Διεύθυνσης Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Χανίων, (οδός Νεροκούρου 30 Χανιά), με ώρα έναρξης 09:00 π.μ. και θα διενεργηθούν αποκλειστικά με ηλεκτρονικό τρόπο, με τη χρήση εγκατεστημένου μηχανογραφικού συστήματος εξετάσεων.

Η υποβολή των αιτήσεων και των απαραίτητων δικαιολογητικών για τη συμμετοχή στις εξετάσεις από τους υποψήφιους ραδιοερασιτέχνες, που έχουν μόνιμη κατοικία στo Νομό Χανίων, θα πρέπει να γίνει μέχρι την Παρασκευή 23 Νοεμβρίου 2018.

ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ

Αγαπητοί / ές συνάδελφοι.

Το κείμενο της Ε.Ε.Ρ. σχετικά με τη διαβούλευση του σχεδίου νόμου με θέμα: “Αδειοδότηση και Έλεγχος Κατασκευών Κεραιών στην Ξηρά” έχει σταλεί σήμερα 24/10/2018 στο ΔΙΑΥΓΕΙΑ προς ανάρτηση.

Επιπλέον, ομάδα από την Ε.Ε.Ρ. μαζί με τον νομικό μας σύμβουλο πρόκειται να παραστεί στον Γ.Γ. Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ταχυδρομείων Κο Βασίλη Μαγκλάρα για κατάθεση προτάσεων επί του εν λόγω σχεδίου νόμου.

Κατά την παράστασή μας θα παραδώσουμε και εκτυπωμένη την ακόλουθη πρόταση, η οποία πρέπει να υπογραφεί (φυσικά ή μέσω mail) από όσον το δυνατόν περισσότερους συναδέλφους ραδιοερασιτέχνες, αλλά και όποιον άλλο μη ραδιοερασιτέχνη από το κοντινό σας περιβάλλον επιθυμεί.

Η πρόταση μπορεί να υπογραφεί απευθείας στη γραμματεία της Ε.Ε.Ρ. την Τετάρτη 24/10 ώρα 17:00 – 21:00 και την Κυριακή 28/10 ώρα 10:00 – 13:00.

Όσοι δεν μπορούν να προσέλθουν στην Ε.Ε.Ρ. για φυσική υπογραφή καθώς και όλοι οι συνάδελφοι που κατοικούν στην περιφέρεια παρακαλούνται να υπογράψουν με mailαποστέλλοντας στο raag-hq@raag.org το αργότερο μέχρι 30/10/18 το παρακάτω κείμενο:

Local radio enthusiasts tune in to Clark County Amateur Radio Club

It’s hard to miss the Yassons’ house — just look for the tall radio mast coming out of the roof, with long, thin aerials extending like bare tree branches. Philip Yasson didn’t say just how tall it was, but he said it was tall enough to worry his neighbor.

“He says, ‘Aren’t you worried about it falling over?’ ” Philip Yasson said. “And I said, ‘No, not really … because I have it designed so if it falls over, it’s going to fall on your house.’ ”

Shelby hamfrst 2018

Before cellphones linked everyone in the world at the push of a button, people were making connections using amateur radios.

That hobby still exists today and for one group in Shelby has become a conduit to bettering their community.

For more than 60 years, the Shelby Amateur Radio Club has been hosting monthly meetings for ham radio users. The club operates six analog repeaters and a packet station for operators to use to communicate.

“It’s a fun hobby, and it’s an important one for community safety,” said Ben Melvin, with the Shelby Amateur Radio Club. “If there’s an emergency in the area and emergency services can’t use their radios, they are able to use ours.”

Southern ohio amateur radio association

SCOTTOWN, Ohio — People who appreciate the engineering of days of old should mark Aug. 18 on their calendars.

That's when the Southern Ohio Amateur Radio Association will set up their gear on the historical covered bridge at Scottown, Ohio, and contact other hams around Ohio and the world, all without using any electricity.

"The special event station will mimic emergency conditions which would be used when there is a total communications failure of commercial power, telephone, commercial radio, television, cell phone, and web access," Eddie Jenkins, the Lawrence County Ohio Amateur Radio Emergency Service

Εξετάσεις ραδιοερασιτεχνών Κρήτη

Την Πέμπτη 29 Μαρτίου 2018 πρόκειται να διεξαχθούν εξετάσεις του πρώτου εξαμήνου του 2018 για την απόκτηση πτυχίου Ραδιοερασιτέχνη από τους ενδιαφερόμενους, στο Λασίθι.

Όπως επισημαίνεται στη σχετική ανακοίνωση, οι εξετάσεις θα ξεκινήσουν στις 9:00 το πρωί στις κατά τόπους υπηρεσίας Μεταφορών και Επικοινωνιών της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Λασιθίου.

Ham radio operators from across the South are expected at the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association’s 58th annual Hamfest, set for 3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday at the Rayne Civic Center. Fort smith area radio club

The Fort Smith Area Amateur Radio Club will host the 2018 Hanging Judge Hamfest at 8 a.m. April 7 at the Sebastian County Emergency Communications and Training Facility, 8400 S. February 3, 2018, 2000 UTC: During the last 72 hours, we continued to experience the high winds, low clouds, fog and rough seas that have prevented helicopter operations since our arrival at Bouvet. No improvement was predicted in the weather forecast for the next four days. Then, last night, an issue developed in one of the ship’s engines. 

This morning, the captain of the vessel declared it unsafe to continue with our project and aborted the DXpedition. We are now on our long voyage back to Punta Arenas. As you might imagine, the team is deeply disappointed, but safe. There is already talk about rescheduling the DXpedition,

Εξετάσεις ραδιοερασιτεχνων στην Ρόδο

Εξετάσεις για την απόκτηση πτυχίου ραδιοερασιτέχνη Α’ περιόδου, πρόκειται να πραγματοποιηθούν στη Ρόδο στις 30 Ιανουαρίου.

Στην απόφαση της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου, αναφέρονται συγκεκριμένα τα εξής:

“Προκηρύσσουμε εξετάσεις για την απόκτηση Πτυχίου Ραδιοερασιτέχνη (Κατηγορίας 1 & Κατηγορίας Εισαγωγικού Επιπέδου), Α΄ περιόδου 2018, στην περιοχή ευθύνης της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Ρόδου της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου την Τρίτη 30 Ιανουαρίου 2018 με ώρα ενάρξεως 10:00.

National amateur radio Winter Field Day starts Saturday

The 24-hour national amateur radio Winter Field Day is set to kick off Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, located at 1506 W. Ave. B.
The day is held for local amateur radio operators to work together in conjunction with local emergency management agencies to practice their skills in the event of an emergency.
The event will run for 24 hours and has a lineup of free workshops that are open to the public, as is the entire event.

Club offering amateur radio classes

MONROE — People who are interested in running their own amateur radio station can take a step toward obtaining operator licenses during a class that is scheduled to start Wednesday, Feb. 7. 

“It’s a great opportunity to learn a new skill that our county can use,” said Gary Reid, representative for the Sevier Amateur Radio Club.

The club is offering the technician ham license class at the Monroe emergency medical services building, 665 South Main Street in Monroe. Class sessions are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Feb. 7, 14 and 21. Testing is set for Wednesday, Feb. 28.

“We will be giving the technician’s test,” Reid said. “Anyone who wants to upgrade can also come and test for that as well.”
